Contemporary Shorebird Decoys by Jim Slack
This is a wonderful assortment of life-size wood carvings of various shorebirds mounted on driftwood. They are carved by famous contemporary Illinois River decoy carver Jim Slack. Jim is well known for his Duck, Goose, and Shorebird carvings. They are in excellent condition with a rich brown, black, beige and tan tones and detailed feathering. Each decoy has glass eyes and a inserted wood bill. They are identified and signed by Slack on the bottom of the base. They have a wonderful look and would be a great addition to your collection or make a very nice gift.
