Excellent hollow pair of Canvasback duck decoys by Wisconsin decoy carver Mike Trudel. These decoys are carved in Mike’s unique style that he has developed over the years. Each decoy is carved and painted by hand. The head and neck of each decoy is stretched forward in a swimming position. These decoys were inspired by the Big Lake Winnebago Canvasback decoys that have been used in Central Wisconsin for the last 100 years. They are hollow carved hunting grade decoy that are fully rigged and weighted. They are in excellent original paint. Trudel's decoys are starting to be sought after by collectors and look great on the shelf. These are classic working birds in excellent condition.
