PERDEW STYLE MALLARD DUCK DECOY PAIR WITH A RARE PREENING DRAKE
Great pair of Illinois River Mallard decoys carved and painted in the style of famous decoy carver Charles Perdew of Henry Illinois. Beautiful paint and styling. Excellent condition. The Drake is carved as a"preener" with it's head turned back. The hen is a standard model. These highly detailed reproductions even include cast replica keel weights marked “Henry” “Perdew” ILL”. This was carved by contemporary carver Charles Moore who has carved exquisite replicas of many of the most famous decoy carvers. Many people are collecting these highly prized and sought after carvings. This is a great pair of decoys and it will make a wonderful addition to any collection.
