Fantastic pair of Pintail decoys by famous contemporary carver Jim Slack. These hunting grade decoys are hollow two-piece construction with a flat bottom board as is found in St Clair flats birds. They are in excellent original condition. The exceptional paint has detailed feathering and combing. The heads are alert and both bills have detailed nail carving. Both decoys have their original keel weights and are marked “JHS Maker”. These are a matched pair of rig mates in a very rare species and would be a great addition to any collection. These are some of Slacks best work. You will not be disappointed with these beautiful hunting grade decoys.
